Good product, well made. Consider where your back pack straps attach to the backpack itself though. This does not have holes for them to go through (possible product development there, with velcro to retain the quick attachment). If you keep your backpack up as high on your shoulders as possible, it works OK. If you tend to wear your pack lower, the cover tends to slip off the top due to the shoulder straps pulling it up.

It is well made but I had to return it because it did not fit over my rolling back pack- although it popped up when I entered those exact search terms on Amazon. It looks like it would do the job and has reflective tape so it would add a safety factor. Disappointed that it has to be returned.

I carry a Patagonia Refugio Pack (28L) pretty much religiously; to and from work, to softball practice, hiking, through airports--it gets used. I live in Seattle, so the occasional shower occurs, but can't really stop me from biking/doing what I have to do.
This little cover gets the job done, nothing more, nothing less. It's small enough to just tuck in a pocket on my backpack, but big enough to cover my pack when it rains. The neon yellow makes me feel safer when it's cloudy and/or dark.
It's not as convenient as just having a waterproof backpack, but it allows me to use the backpack I already have and love and be active in a city known for its rain.

I bike in to work a few days a week, and parts of my ride involve riding on the road. I have a standard purchased-at-Target Alpine Swiss bag, and this covers it pretty well. If the bag's full, it it will stretch a bit. And probably a result, has now torn in a few locations along the elastic seam. That all being said, I always ride with this thing- if a driver hits you while you had this thing on (and a blinky LED), there was probably nothing else you were really going to do to change the outcome. Highly recommend, just wish the build quality were better.
