I bought this because i had 2 chargers fail on me within 2 months. They would only work if you slowly turned the cord until it started charging.
purchased this product, replacement was super easy in a inspiron 5559... It didn't resolve my issue but this keeps the chargers in tighter than the OEM so i don't have to readjust the charger as frequent. Ordered another charger hoping what ever was wearing the old ones down was in the dc jack.
