Outside is coated in a fragrance, but fragrance can be wiped off.

Deduct two stars because even though these are advertised as unscented, the exterior is coated in a fragranced coating that was a little tacky or powdery to the touch. We could smell it right out of the box. It was removable with some alcohol on a paper towel. What is the point of this unnecessary fragrance? If you're highly allergic I wouldn't recommend, but if you can tolerate the process of wiping them down, then it could work. Unfortunately the other brands of hanging style are also fragranced, so this is the lesser of two evils.
