Leaks at the hose. Now full disclosure it's been stored for 4years (bought it in 2012, but had not used it). It was coiled up (as shipped) and not used. Hooked up finally this weekend to convert my smoker and it's leaking at a factory crimped connection, that's no beuno. If it can start to leak being stored for 4 years, what does that mean for when gas is flowing through it constantly?
No warranty and ya 4 years is a long time, but this should not be leaking at factory crimps/connections.

Works well, but some corrosion issues with the disconnect

The hose and quick disconnect work well, but after a couple of winters on the deck, the quick disconnect had some corrosion and has become difficult to operate. I would recommend protecting the disconnect point with something that is waterproof to avoid problems.if it is in a wet area.

Just paid overnight prime to get this hose. The Q.C. is not correct. It will accept neither the new hose nor my old hose. The male ends of the hoses bottom out about 1/16 inch shy of being able to make the connection. I had to reinstall my old Q.C. fitting which easily accepted both the old and new hoses.
I just described the issue on the Brinkmann website listed on the product packaging and after 10 minutes fooling with that I hit the "Submit" icon and their website had "technical difficulties". This hasn't been a good purchase.

Came quickly and served the need we had perfectly! It was used to replace the gas line between a range top to gas connection under BBQ. Critters had chewed on the previous one causing a gas leak that was minor but needed replacing. THIS ITEM filled the bill as needed.

I'm a harsh critic of how things are constructed these days but this product looks to be of great quality and I predict will last for years. I also thought the price was very reasonable for this product. This does work with propane but it has to be on a low pressure system, 1/4 PSI which is typical for a whole house propane service. Cannot be used on a portable 20Lb. cylinder because the pressue is too high.
