I bought 3 sets of these for stocking stuffers for a Christmas party with 12 kids, ages 5-16. They were a little too easy for the 3 teenagers, maybe a little too difficult for the 5 year old (although he seemed to enjoy it anyway), but the kids 6-11 enjoyed the game, and were making up games themselves (mostly racing, trying to solve it for different color schemes).

The rainbow ball is the better of the two. The puzzle magic cube with the movable small balls is not so easy to do; the middle circle which is what turns gets caught easily and has to be perfectly lined up for it to move. This will cause frustration for little hands and even was frustrating to me as it isn't easy to get everything aligned for it to move. The ball is great and kids will be able to manipulate the balls easily.

These were fun stocking stuffers. Very easy to solve, my 9 year old daughter and I would each get one and race to see who could solve it the fastest (sometimes only a minute or two) but it was fun entertainment for a bit.
