nice fly fishing vest

everything looks good just got it yesterday, looking through it though I noticed that the 2 front lower compartments for fly storage doesn't have the foam pieces to actually hold the flies..... I looked at this vest on a few different sites and some showed them and others no mention... it just bugs me that for what ever price that a stupid little thing like this is omitted.. now before I can use it I have to go searching for these pieces that wholesale are maybe worth $1.00 kinda makes me want to look at another brand when I was going to order the bigger vest with more options.. maybe it all won't be there either.... Nice vest though...

Great vest. I purchased 5 other vests and compared them side by side. This vest won over the rest. More D rings, deeper pockets. The pockets that are parallel to the zipper are also deeper. The mesh on the back allows for storage and comes with snaps to secure the opening. Only drawback for the vest is the zipper. I could be heavier duty. However that disadvantaged was cancelled out because you can also close this vest with a nice buckle that you can't see in the pictures. ( KyleBooker could do a better job and provide more pictures...they would probably outsell the vests in the similar price range. ) I can't wait to get on the water with this new purchase.

I bought this vest mainly for the price around $45. It has been a good product and with decent quality. I am still using it about a year in. The only thing that I had to do was cut off all of the little orange string/rope they have tied around each of the zippers. They are not necessary and I had a tendency to hook them every time I let go of my fly. Snipped them off and now the vest works great.
Makes other Fisherman Jealous!

I bought one for myself and my son. My old fishing vest was looking pretty shabby. I changed all my flies and gear to vest and still haven't used all the pockets on this!! I can't find what I'm looking for just yet ... I wore it out fishing once. I love the balance of this vest and very easy to fish in. Let's face it, balance and ease of a fishing is a must when standing in waders in a river! I was asked by other fisherman (men to be exact!) where I got the vest and was told that is a very nice fishing vest! I pointed them to here and I couldn't agree with them more. This is a very nice vest! I am 5' 6" and my son 6' 5" with the adjustable straps this vest fit us both extremely well! I'm going to hate when I have to replace this vest!

Great vest! I bought this for my adult son's birthday and when he opened it I could see the wheels turning in his eyes. This vest has uses for hiking and camping as well as fishing and photography. Well made and it puts the gear up front where you need it and still allows you to wear a day pack if you want more gear. Very adjustable. My son is a big man and had no trouble setting it up to fit him.
