Good sock for post-surgery boot

I am in a tall (surgical) walking boot, and have surgery wounds on both sides of the ankle. Thinner socks did not protect that very well. These socks provide some comfort that would otherwise be hard to achieve. They are comfortable, although the toe seam can definitely be felt along the toes. I have bought several pairs of these to be able to make it between laundry days- wearing it every day. Price is not bad, so for that reason not knocking stars down for the toe seam.
Edited- brought down to 4 stars. Still like them and use them, but after a few weeks they are starting to slide down; elastic stretched. Would still buy again.

Socks are thick and comfortable in the walking boot. They do snag very easily no matter how careful you are not to touch the velcro, they still pill. They do fall down in the boot so you have to keep pulling them up, the mechanism of walking seems to pull them down, I tried rolling over the top of the boot but it still pulls down. I have found women's knee socks a good option too. I'll switch back and forth as needed for comfort, these socks are really nice and thick though and you won't get that in a regular sock. I would still buy this product.

These are the best boot liners ever. Because they are so tall, you can fold the top down over the boot and they won't creep down. They are so comfortable. Do not try to use regular knee socks. They will leave fabric marks on your skin. These are well worth the price.

So comfortable to wear with cam walker boot. Wearing the boot alone made my foot sweat and the material cause my skin to irritate. After my achilles tendon surgery, I had to hear the boot for 2 more months so I was looking for a sock to wear that was comfortable with my incision. This sock helps my foot stay warm and dry, doesn't feel tight. I cut the toe part off to allow me to look at my toes while wearing the medical boot. I highly recommend this sock for anyone with wearing a boot pre or post injury. Buy a couple of socks so that you can machine wash as needed and wear daily.

These socks are amazing and a life saver! I broke my ankle and got the walking boot but could not find any socks in stores to use. Cotton blend crew socks were awful. I tried men's diabetic socks but they were full of ridges and had a heel and left awful marks on my leg. I saw these and ordered them. Delivery was fast and when I put the sock on it felt so wonderful. Nice and soft and goes all the way up to the knee. The sock will snag on the Velcro tabs on the boot but I have found that when undoing the Velcro just tuck it under so that it's not exposed and this will keep it from snagging on the sock.
