Wanted to love this tent. Price is unbeatable, layout and functionality is great. But, you get what you pay for. Setting up first time, one of the grommet tabs which hold the poles pulled off the tent body. Was able to secure pole using ground tarp grommet hole, and completed Weekend of BSA merit badge college in comfort, even after other A-frame tents collapsed from passing blow and rain.
After inspecting damage, it appeared my wife may be able to sew rather easily, however, went to set up to dry out upon returning home, and two more tabs failed in same way.
That's three of four tabs, without which, this is now printed nylon junk.
Their return policy has me paying two way shipping!?!?!? Really! I now have to pay for your non-existent QC, for a product which didn't perform as advertised even ONE TIME?
Stylish tent, lightweight and compact, with a few issues, but most things aren't perfect!

I got the black and white one and it is a cool looking tent! I mostly bought this one so I could use it without the rain cover to view the stars at night. It's not as see through as I hoped, but it works. I'm also a tall person, 6'2" and the tent is a little small for me. I can fit but I touch the walls so am better if I sleep at a bit of a diagonal. It's pretty easy to set up and tear down. Most times when I use the rain cover I don't peg it out and just let it rest against the tent. It is a little tough to pin it down everywhere it needs to be, especially of the ground is hard.

The thing I like least about the tent is that with the rain cover on, the only way to open/close the windows is to get out of the tent, and with the cover on that means opening two doors!

I also bought it for it's weight and size. I took this on two trips where I flew to my destination and it fit in a smaller suitcase!
Unique design, versatile front vestibule, and does well in rain.

Just got my Chillbo Cabbin about an hour ago, and finished setting it up in the yard, and it looks amazing! Woot-woot! The kids love it!

Out of all the reviews and verified purchase pictures, please don't tell me I am the only person that noticed that this tent can convert the front vestibule into a nifty awning if you have trekking poles or sticks, to really add to the chill factor.

Initial impressions of this tent: it is very spacious for a 2 person tent, much, much larger than most 2 person tents, it is also great looking, and comes with well a constructed rain fly, it seems durable - not on par with my Kelty and some other mid price tents I've owned, but durable enough for the price point. However the guy out lines and the stakes that come with the tent are iffy and will be replaced with something more appropriate. There are also some areas on the main tent body that have some questionable stitching; so far none of it looks like it will affect performance, but I'll find that out when I actually put this tent to use.

I do love the large windows/dual doors, and discovering that you can pitch the front vestibule like an awning is a nice touch - not to mention the tent print just looks straight bad@$$, however the GIGANTIC "Chillbo Cabbins" logo needs to go - it makes this tent look like an oversized kids play tent, which is fine since I DID buy this for my kids, but I am sure others and myself would prefer a solid olive drab version of this tent minus the gigantic Chillbo logo.

We'll see how it holds up after my trips and if it lives up to the hype.

8/28/17 UPDATED REVIEW!

So for the first trip we took the Chillbo Cabbin out for the weekend with my fiancé and our daughter for a 2-day-1-night stay at a local campground. I specifically wanted to test the weatherproof capability and heat retention since the forecast called for rain both days, and highs of 55 with lows of 38 degrees at night. I did this because if I am giving this tent to our kids, I want them to be dry and warm when they use it for yard camping or otherwise.

The two days we camped it rained lightly but continuously, at one point it rained heavily for 20 minutes, followed by a brief 1-hour break of sunshine, before the rain resumed. I am happy to report that not a drop made it inside the tent.

It did surprisingly well in the wet-chill of the night as well considering the main tent body, excluding the floor, is entirely mesh. With the rainfly on and with all the windows closed and privacy screens over the mesh doors, we slept comfortably and stayed warm with no invasive drafts, however, I think our choice of sleeping bags and sleeping attire, had a lot to do with this, as frequent tent campers, and living in Alaska we all have sleeping bags that are rated for chillier weather.

We've only used it once, but for the price I'm impressed it seems to be a solid performing tent time will tell.
Badass print + sweet value!

This tent is so rad! I needed a new car camping/festival tent and this print was so cute, I couldn't pass it up. Plus, it came the day after I ordered it! I just set it up in the backyard to check it out and it's actually a little bigger than I thought, and the quality is better than expected for only being $100. It will definitely sleep 3 and still be comfy and I really like the extra space the rain fly creates, sort of like a front porch where I'll be able to keep stuff outside the tent (muddy shoes!). Also the rain fly actually snap clips to the bottom of the tent which is a vast improvement on the hooks that my other tent has (such a pain). I'll be taking this baby to Burning Man this year. I don't know if I'd use this tent to go backpacking, but it's medium weight and packs down pretty small so I might if I wanted extra space. I set it up alone and it took me 5 - 10 minutes so if you want to do a solo trip it can be done no problem with this tent. Over all I'm super pleased with my purchase, it's really cute and for only $100 bucks it's a sweet value. If you're looking for a badass looking affordable tent, this is it!
Great tent, vague directions.

Let me start by saying that I really like the tent itself. Not the highest quality tent that I've ever used, but decently good for the price. Stowed, it's compact. Probably a little heavy for backpacking, but I'm getting too old for that kind of thing, so no issue. Build quality seems to be fine. All the seams and joints looked to be secure. The tent is spacious for its size. Plenty of storage space under the rain fly. The zippers operated fine. Smooth action, didn't catch. All in all, I'm really happy with the product itself.

Now, the part that I didn't care for at all was the instructions. I'm not a frequent camper, and I haven't set up a tent in years. I was able to figure it out, but it involved about twice as much time as I think it should have, and more swearing that I care to admit to. The instructions amount to a few minimal illustrations that didn't really help and some vague verbiage that helped even less. I'm sure that a frequent tent assembler wouldn't even need the instructions, but I struggled. That doesn't really detract from the actual product, though. I managed, so it's all good.
