Good replacement antenna

Installed recently. No change in reception that I noticed. I can now enter the garage without the long one catching. I may also be able to use carwashes in the future without having to remove the antenna. Seems like a good purchase so far. One thing I noted was that the OEM antenna has a nut on the bottom for tightening with a wrench. This one doesn't. I applied some blue locktight and will monitor.

Remove Stud First...Read Below!

Works great. I recommend removing the stud and screwing it fully into the truck's antenna port. Then screwing the antenna on the remaining threads. This helped reception tremendously to the point, that I have not perceived loss of signal from the factory antenna. Looks great, no scraping antenna on the parking garage, and I've been through the car wash about five times so far with no problems.
Don’t expect it to tune radio stations in Europe and you will find this product is nearly perfect. You will lose a little distance in reception ...

Not fot automatic car washes be careful

BEWARE!! If you use automatic car washes this antenna will not survive. The first time i went through one it broke off and can not be used again.
