The picnic blanket is nice and soft on one side and the other is a nylon water wicking fabric. Perfect for both a park or the beach. Doubles as a travel pillow in the car when in the carrying case.

Great picnic/beach blanket, which is a bit bigger than most. Soft top layer, thick waterproof under layer, and great carrying case, which is easy to fill without a struggle. Nice exterior zip pocket on the case for cash, cards or a phone. Had to have it when I saw my friend's. Hearing that they are coming out with another pattern (though the original is very attractive). Terrific customer service when I asked a question about potential other patterns. Now I'm going to check out other Laguna Beach products . . .

Finally got to test out my new blanket and love it! I didn't have to worry about the wet grass because the bottom of the blanket is waterproof and I was surprised by how soft/warm the top fleece is. The design is cute and received compliments from my friends. The blanket was easy to roll up and put back in its light carrying case, which was convenient because we walked around after the park. Very happy with my purchase and planning on buying a few more as gifts this summer!

Awesome product. We picnicked on it in central park this weekend. The pattern is simple and classic, soft and breathable, perfect to lay in the sun or to sit and eat chips and guacamole. The bottom of the blanket is waterproof, brilliant idea becuase often other picnic blankets will absorb dew from the grass underneath.
The blanket folds up small and comes with a nice carrying case for the subway or two throw in the trunk. I just leave mine in the trunk so I always have it just in case.
