Very well built. Good welds and holes equally spaced. Works great on the back of my JD X570 mower. None of the other hitch options I saw would allow use of the JD suitcase weights with the hitch installed.
I installed it flush with the rear transmission cover plate, slightly offset to the right using the top oval hole on the mower then drilled the remaining three holes. This provided clearance for the bypass valve lever, two suitcase weights on either side of the hitch and the use of the existing pin hole for my yard cart.
The two holes in the receiver for the insert pin is a plus

This is a well made receeiver. Having read the less favorable reviews, I checked it out thoroughly. A 2" hitch goes clear to the bottom of the unit. The tube was reasonably square to the mounting plate. The welds were solid. The mounting holes were not spaced for my JD ZTM, they are wide of the bolt holes in the chassis. I will either drill the frame or add a mounting plate to the receiver. For the price a bit of work will not be s problem. Not a quick easy mount up, but better than the JD 1 3/4" receiver that fits only their hitch and is light duty.
