As a tattoo artist, I have mild back issues due to having to sit certain ways during sessions, with this stool I haven't had any issues since buying this 2 months ago! Very comfy, although you do have to get used to the saddle aspect of it and adjust accordingly. The only thing I would change would be to allow it to go down a little further in height, but other than that I LOVE it.

I have tried saddle stools before, and was not very happy with them. This one is better, for three reasons:
1. It adjusts from sitting height all the way up to standing height.
2. It tilts both forward AND backward (note: I have the backless version, I don't know if the one with a back does this). "And backward" is very important if you intend to use it at a regular desk height - most saddle stools, if used at that height, cause hyperlordosis (too much curvature in the lower back) and back pain. So tilt it backward when used at sitting height, and forward when used at standing height, and you'll be able to keep your back in a neutral posture at either height.
3. It has a decent amount of padding for a saddle stool. Still less than a regular chair, and when you're first getting used to it your bum will start to get sore after a few hours, but you can sit for longer on it than on other brands of saddle stool that have less padding.
Overall I am *extremely* glad I bought this!
