I purchased these for my daughter to protect the Spanish Flag novelty license plate I bought for her. They fit perfectly and appear to be heavy duty and as-such should provide ample protection. The fact that the covers are curved as opposed to flat does not bother me and, in fact, my daugther thought it added a nice effect.
