I like creating new looks and altering some of my clothes I also like to make curtains and pillow cases, but I always do it by hand which very time consuming specially for the big stuff, after my son I really don't have much time for my hobbies and I need some new curtains so I decided on this little machine. If I add the cost of the machine and the fabric it still cheaper that buying my curtains! I am impress with this machine it is easy to operate for a beginner on machines like me. And it was super fast to sew my curtains! It has a pedal which I need more practice to control my feet, but it has a button also!

The Amado sewing machine is very light weight easy to use and portable machine which works with regular power supply. In terms of features it is compared to a full size machine but it is much smaller and portable. I had to extend the length of my curtains and removing the curtains from the road was very cumbersome and painful so I decided to opt for this one where I could stitch the small patch while the curtains are on and this worked like a charm. In a few minutes I was able to add the patch and my goal was acheived

I ordered this small portable sewing machine for my daughter since this is a more advanced model then those kiddie one you see on sale near christmas time. The machine is nicely built and is very durable. This is a great way for the beginner to learn with out to many functions or options to get them confused. The machine is pretty simple to operate and I do like how it comes with the foot pedal. If you do not want to use the pedal the machine does have the push method. I prefer her to use the pedal because if my daughter keeps on with the sewing she will be able to use my machine. It is neat that this machine uses a bobbin for a spool. This is perfect for simple projects and now she can make her own presents for people. Her seams are great and I am so happy I purchased this for her.

This is a great sewing machine for beginners. Best of all, I love the size of the sewing machine. I have seen sewing machines in stores and they were always too big that they would take up too much space. I was able to get it working quickly and it was easy to set up. It would be great for simple sewing tasks which is all that I know. It uses either AA batteries or an AC adapter which makes it portable to carry it around. Overall I was very impressed with this sewing machine. The size was perfect for me.

I knew this sewing machine was small but when I received it, I was shocked at how tiny it is. This sewing machine does work well at basic stuff like shortening my pants, but due to its size, it's a bit difficult to operate. This machine will work great for sewing simple stuff like small pouches and fix loose threads, but for anything more complicated, I'd recommend getting something bigger.
