First and foremost, these grips are perfect! Shipping was quick and the quality is great. The laminated rosewood with checkered grips are solid and feel great in my hand. The finish is smooth and the seam disappears when you screw the halves together. This is a great product and I never do reviews. I felt obligated to write this based on the amazing quality alone. I would recommend these grips over and over again. Well worth the investment!!!!!!

I picked up the checkered version of the grips for a late-90's 85UL. Fit fine, looks decent for the quality of the pistol. The have a "cheap" feel to them, very slippery material. Not the same quality of the Hogue or VZ laminate grips, but cost less than both. The grips are larger and fatter than the factory grips, but not too much larger and not cumbersome. If you saved money purchasing a Taurus, than save money and buy these grips to dress it up. Otherwise, buy a Smith and some VZ grips.

craftsmanship is great. looks amazing. i bought these to ease pulling the pistol out of my waistband, the rubber grips did what they were supposed to do, not slip. these grips do not bind in my waistband, yet are large enough to still give me control. the looks were gravy. i am impressed with them.

Ok so they look good, but hey don't fit the newer Taurus 605 with grips held by a pin. So some reviews saying they fit the 605 may have a 2016 or older gun and this marketing material has not been updated correctly by Amazon/vendor. I will be returning the item. One last thing, the package has a hole for you to feel the smooth grip, I guess the unit I received has been rubbed by many people before shipping to me, there is definitely discoloration on the wood compared to the other side...almost looks used.

Love these grips, and they fit my Tarus 605 perfectly, 5 minute job, and makes a night and day differance! And my 605 does have the pin, and fits perfect.
