the product i received must have been older stock. I know that the manufacturer upgraded there ovens and was having an issue with baking them like the old ovens. these had to be made before the problem was addressed. i love these pretzels but will suffer a few months before ordering any more of this product!!! to bad because I really loved the old pretzels. I don,t know why companies change when they have a great thing going !!!! IE NEW COKE !!!!!

These hands down one the best hard/crisp pretzels I have ever had and I fancy myself a pretzel connoisseur... And they're difficult to find in the store, So I was happy when I found them on here at a great price. I believe the first time I purchased them they were $25 and the second time there were $30 for a case of 12 bags. I hate have gotten friends addicted to these including my barber which every time I buy a case I give the case to him and I take one back for myself.

Even when i buy them as a case of 12.. not lasting long in my house!

Great tasting pretzels and all the guests I've served them to ask where i found them and search them out when they get home. MUCH better than the pretzels all full of air with most of the salt on the bottom of the bag you usually find in the grocery stores, These are denser and the salt stays stuck on them. They almost look hand made. The regular (non-dark) ones are also good too, I just like that extra burn flavor, reminds me of the extra darks i used to get as a kid back in Pennsylvania. They arrived fresh and at the rate they flow out of the pantry no worry about 12 bags going stale. I should probably have Amazon auto refill this once a month.UPDATE: This is my 3rd reorder now and the quality and freshness just keeps getting better!

I went to PA to visit family and was introduced to these. I love them! I can't get them in N.C., but was pleasantly surprised to find them on Amazon. They are only slightly higher in price than what I paid for them in PA so I am very happy. Be aware that they are heavily covered in salt so I hope that you will enjoy in moderation. :) If not.....oh, well.....it's your body. Who am I to tell you what to do?
