good tool
J. Sierra•September 16, 2018
this tool works well for shelling lobsters but are a little big for crabs. I use them regularly for tails, claws, legs and joints. one thing that can be improved is the usability of the cracker section of the tool.
Get to the meat of the matter!

Love this tool. We used to use scissors but this does the cracking and the slicing and it's faster and safer than scissors. Still have to hold those King crab legs with a glove, though! Those spikes on there are rough!
you can usually get an area started so that the cracker section (or better yet, old-fashioned nut crackers) can do the rest

They're OK. I've only used them on lobsters, and once you realize the scissors work "backwards", you can usually get an area started so that the cracker section (or better yet, old-fashioned nut crackers) can do the rest. Packaging and delivery OK.
Lobsters beware!

Never used anything like this before. I bought one to try it out, and everyone loved it. Have not tried it on 3+ lb lobsters yet, but that is next. I expect it to do very well. I'll be getting a couple more so we don't have to share.
Good not great.

Works but not as easy as I had hoped. Got better as I learned how best to use them.
