I'm not a professional, but I do cut my own hair and I have specific preferences as to the tools I use. Even if I didn't cut my hair, I like a clean, straight part & when I'm drying my hair I want clean separations when section drying. This comb is perfect for my needs. The teeth are just the right strength-- not like some other tail combs with teeth that bend, separate & quickly start to look almost melted. And the tail is also just the right strength, balance & substance. A good comb at a bargain price.

All-around excellent quality comb! The manufacturing, the materials (the stainless "tail" is solid and strong and the comb itself is some sort of heavy duty plastic "˜meets' rubber type material, it is pure awesomeness!!) are top-notch quality, the weight and balance is perfect for handling, the comb's teeth are smooth (most plastic combs in general are manufactured and shaped via molds and the edging along the base of the theeth are not truly smooth, so they strip the individual strands of hair.... causing breakage, damage and split ends!). I am still stunned at the quality for the price...... I keep thinking that it is still to good to be true. I love it!!!

I LOVE this comb and the best part is the case it comes in is a friendly reminder to my daughters not to borrow it . My other combs seem to disappear not this one! I've never really bought myself a nice comb. Just have had combs lying around from who knows where. My daughter in law had requested a rattail comb for her birthday, and I began the search for a nice comb, rated well by others. I found the HYOUJIN608 Black Carbon Metal Pintail Teaser Rattail Comb for her and then decided to add this comb to it as a set. And then, I decided to get myself this sassoon style comb. Opened up the package and was quite pleased to find a very nice looking, quality comb. It just looks special and is a bit dressy. I then tried it out when teasing and curling my hair and was delighted how well it worked. I have fine hair, and the fine tooth comb side was just right. When I was getting out tangles, I used the wider tooth side. I know it's just a comb, but I'm pretty pleased that for the first time in my life I have a very nice comb.
