One of the best choppers I have tried

This chopper is GREAT !!! It is so easy to push down and chop things - the blades are very sharp. I have had other choppers where the blades are so dull that the food I am trying to chop ends up mushy and squashed from trying to push it through the holes - not so with this chopper. The container does not slip at all on the counter. And the storage container holds a lot. I love the big size dicing blade - I have never seen this come with any choppers I have tried in the past. It is so easy to clean also. I also love the fact that it comes with a plastic cover to store leftovers in the fridge. The surface area for chopping is also bigger than other choppers I have used - some choppers I have used I needed to cut the onion/pepper into tiny pieces to put on the blade to chop - I did not have to do that with this chopper.
I am VERY happy with this chopper and highly recommend it. It is one of the best choppers I have tried - and I have tried a lot of different brands.

I just love the QuickPush Food Chopper, it is sturdy, doesn't slip on my countertop, has a storage lid, it is not hard to push, and is easy to clean up! I tried to put it through its paces. I started with potatoes and an onion for home-fried potatoes. At dinner, I peeled a few extra potatoes to try my QuickPush. I dislike cutting potatoes into cubes, one of the reasons I don't make home-fries often. I used the 1/2" dicer and cut my potato in about 1/2" slices, within seconds I had all the potatoes cut into beautiful 1/2" cubes. Up next was the onion, I used the 1/4" dicer and again cut the onion into 1/4" slices, again it was so quick and I had perfect diced onion. The best part, I left the potato and onion in the container, added water to cover the veggies and left them in the fridge all night. In the morning I drained my veggies and made my home-fries! It was great!! I then decided I would do a stir fry for dinner, I pre-cooked my carrots so they weren't to hard. I wanted them like shoestring cuts, so I used the 1/4" blade and cut my carrots in about 2" lengths, but it sure did the trick, I tried green and red peppers, I cut them in half lengthwise and than in half across the pepper, using the same blade, I started the cut by pushing the flat end onto the blade and used a slower push. It didn't do too bad, I had some shoestring cuts and a few diced peppers. In my mind it was good. :) Overall, I was pleased with my stir fry. My last test was to cut cheese for Mac and Cheese the next day for dinner. When I make this my husband, wants Sharp cheese, so I used the 1/2" blade and a block of cheese cut into about 1/4" slices, plus an extra cut so it would fit the blade. It was the fastest I have ever cut up cheese it was Great! I can see lots of use for my QuickPush when summer's garden starts producing. Thank you, Brieftons for another great Kitchen tool that makes my work easy and should I say fun! :) Oh, if you haven't tried their Spiralizer it is another wonderful product that makes my time in the kitchen so much easier.

I was going to wait until I tried this with more veggies, but I decided to review it now. So far, I've used this to cut tomatoes for a salad; and to dice onions for a quiche. Both came out great!

This chopper suits my needs. It is easy to handle and to clean. I have had choppers before that were too hard to use but so far this one has done the job with little effort. I have arthritis in my hands and the way this chopper is designed means that any stress points are in the palm of my hand and away from the thumb joint. The way the leverage works means that it doesn't take much effort to chop food. It is a good size for storage in a small kitchen. The compartment under the blades comes with a lid so I can chop ahead and store in the 'fridge. It is economical enough that someone like me can afford to have some of the convenience of expensive food processors. An added benefit that I didn't expect-- it came while I have the flu. Not wanting to stand in the kitchen and cook I had been making due with ramen noodles. I just used the chopper to quickly fix a nice vegetable meal and clean up after. I foresee that this device will lead to healthier dining even when I am not feeling so good. A note about the sellers... they seem to have a real interest in the outcome of their product and have made available recipe books and other informative ebooks about the health benefit of natural foods. I haven't had any problems with their products but I get the sense that if I did they would be friendly and approachable.
So easy to use, built sturdy enough to allow you cut through veggies without feeling like you will break it!

I used this today to chop potatoes and onions, using the medium size cutting grate. The cuts were so easily made, nothing like when I owned one of this first types of choppers like this years ago. The Brieftons chopper is sturdy and I did not feel as if I might break the chopper by trying to force a cut. I love that they made the container deeper rather than longer as you can chop more before you need to empty it. Clean up was a breeze. The inclusion of a sealing lid is a nice bonus that I imagine will be of benefit at some point. Brieftons makes a quality kitchen tool, I am happy to say I have not been unhappy with any purchase from them to day. It looks like that experience will be extended to this tool too!
