This is a heavy duty professional contractor grade sprayer. That is evident when you open the box. The hose is thick, strong and durable. The attachment connections and every part of it is heavy duty. The sprayer itself weights around 12 lbs.
The wand is fantastic. It has a smooth operating lever that allows precise flow control. You will need that when you pump this up to high pressures. You can pump it up to 85 psi which is necessary for thicker viscosity sprays. It handles them well. From construction applications to dormant oil for orchards, it has a lot of uses. A lightweight plastic sprayer may be preferable to carry around, but for heavy duty use and precise control as well as higher psi applications this can get it done without much fuss.

This thing has quality at every turn. All the parts appear to be solid brass, fittings are all great. It includes instructions with full break downs (you do have to assemble a lot of it as well). Everything is heavy duty, designed for corrosive chemicals. This thing is designed to be used every day and keep on going.

If you plan to use this product more than once, go ahead and spend the money and buy this brand and model. My husband owned a concrete company for many years and we used to blow through sprayers. The best advice I can give you about them is you get what you pay for. I've also seen some pretty pricey ones he had that lasted one use but they weren't built like this one. If you plan to use solvent based sealers you want to make sure you have a sprayer built to handle them. This sprayer is heavy when empty and much heavier when full so keep that in mind when you are thinking about who will be using it, how you will use it and for how long because it will affect that. Most important is reliability though. As I said, we went through so many of these but the better quality. more expensive ones were the ones that lasted and gave a better performance as far as application. The last thing you want in the middle of the job is your sprayer to go bad. Overall, I am thrilled with this. When I saw this offering I hoped so much I'd have the chance to try it. I needed it badly because I have so much decorative concrete (stamped, stained, overlays) that has to be maintained - repeated applications of sealers. If you have decorative concrete, you need that too. This came at just the right time for me.
