It does the job, but it's not very sturdy and it's a bit difficult to get it to stay open to the length desired while pulling the window down to close it in. One of the clips snapped off at the fifth time I used, while I was attempting to place it in the window frame. While I was able to snap it back on this time, I wonder what I'll do if it cracks or splits the next time, as apparently that clip holds the bottom two pieces together.
