I'm a runner and live a few miles from a beach which I drive to everyday to run on and have been dragging towels in and out of my car for years. What a pain. This cover is really great. As others have posted, it does smell some. I let it air out in my garage for a day after it arrived but it still smells a little but overall I'm very happy with it. I'm sure the smell will eventually go away.
