The manufacturer for the charger that came with the scooter is Universal Power Group. The charger purchased from Amazon is U.P.G. So your buying a Pride charger. Works fine. Doesn't overheat. Great for backup.

Works perfectly for my GoGo Elite Traveler scooter. To think the medical supplier where I purchased the scooter said I needed a new battery. I bought the battery and it still wasn't charging. I wasted money on an expensive battery, costing around $200. This charger is still working which I purchased almost a year ago!
