Outer material is pretty rough, this is NOT a shock case. Very roomy on the inside, as a general Vita case, it's more than competent. Yet with this case, drop it at your Vita's peril... Unfortunately dropping this case INSIDE of say, a back pack, it's STILL at your Vita's expense. Be careful. The Vitas that are left out there... That's what's left of them...
