Works great in carrying about 2-3 bags of groceries. It is very large with many good compartments to store things like umbrellas and your wallet if needed. It handles almost all inclines and declines especially steps very well and is very smooth. Very durable product that folds up nicely.
Some things people may be concerned about are:
If you make a fast turn or have the weight inside the bag not evenly distributed the bag will come slightly off of the platform and sag a bit on the side. To remedy this I got a cord to wrap around the bag when it is full of groceries.
The wheels are not really loud in comparison to other carts I have.
When coming in the box there is some assembly required but it is very easy to set up.

I don't think I've found all possible uses for my trolley dolly. But I found one use that I didn't see in reviews! Five months post total knee replacement, I still can't carry loads of laundry up and down two flights of stairs. OK, I don't carry any laundry down. That's why god made huge mesh bags: stuff and throw and drag.

Coming up the stairs, even the wonderful half-size baskets I found on Amazon Sterilite 16288006 Deep Ultra Basket, White Basket w/ Titanium Inserts, 6-Pack are not good enough. I need to hold on to the railing. And I haven't been able to carry the handfuls of hanging items for years (arthritic hands). My sweet husband has had to shoulder those chores. NO LONGER!

The huge trolley dolly bag can be packed almost full: the super-long adjustable strap lets me sling it cross-body in front. With the platform folded up, 8-10 coat hangers can be put on the top horizontal rod. I can even put a small amount of laundry in the bag, and still hang items.I use a one of those neat flat bungee cords Keeper 06119 Adjustable Flat Bungee Cord to keep them from flopping around. Longer items can be folded back up and secured with another cord. Then Dolly and I climb all the way to the top floor with a full load of laundry! One hand on the rail and one pulling that wonderful stair-climbing cart. I'm going to have to be careful when winter comes...those hanging clothes weigh more than my summer togs. I don't want to put too much on that not-hugely-thick rod. Too many other uses to find.

Jim still carries baskets and hanging clothes up, but now I do too! I feel so ...able!

This thing is the best!

A little backstory: My husband is in a 5 year training program and is required to keep and bring all books from the previous year. It's a tremendous amount of weight! After many recommendations, we bought the plastic crate on wheels that you can get at Office Depot. Unfortunately, we live up two flights of stairs and within the first 6 months, we had 2 of them break! I was frustrated so I started to look for some alternatives.

I started searching around on Amazon and I found the Bigger Trolley Dolly with and without the stair climber option. I asked my husband and he thought the stair climber option was a little unnecessary, so I bought one with regular wheels. He's strong and even the regular wheels are sturdy, so he can maneuver the weight relatively easily. It works perfectly for him. It holds a ton of books and binders! It's held up over a year so far with no signs of wear!

I recently found out that I would be teaching at my daughter's school. This position requires a good amount of supplies to be lugged back and forth every week, and most other teachers carry around a large clear plastic storage tote or a rolling scrap-booking bag (like that plastic crate but covered in cloth :/). I have a two year old that I often have to carry through the parking lot and up stairs so I knew I would need something a little easier to bring with me. So, I turned to the Bigger Trolley Dolly Stair Climber! Unlike my husband, I thought the stair climber option was completely necessary and I am not disappointed! It fits the bill perfectly! It has a lot of pockets on the outside that are helpful for holding pens/pencils and other smaller items. I have a hard-sided rectangular tool bag at the bottom that holds the bulk of the supplies I need, and keep my books tucked around it (thank goodness for its large base and roomy bag!) Then I have some smaller totes/crates that keep games/other supplies organized on top. And I love the Moroccan design! Super cute!

Moral of the story: Trolley Dolly is the best! And the Stair Climber option is so worth the few extra dollars!

One of my best purchases so far this year. And for those of you are wondering, yes, it works perfectly on an open staircase like ours. We love our house but the main living area is up a flight of open stairs up past 2-story windows that surround the double front doors. We are not ready for a chair lift yet. This trolley hauls 3 HUGE grocery bags and the wheels work beautifully over the steps. Love this thing!

I bought this for my sister who has a 3rd. fl. apartment. She was always complaining about having to bring up groceries, laundry etc...I saw this product and thought, "hey I think she'd like this". Well I was wrong. She LOVES it!!!!! She packs that bag full of stuff and wheels it up to the 3rd. fl. The triple wheels makes it easy to go up the stairs. Not doing the pulling routine. It kind of glides. Don't be fooled by the size. It can hold quite a bit.
