They were a little too bitter for my taste but they do give a fantastic presentation. I soaked them in regular fresh lime juice to sweeten it up a bit and it seemed to help.

I just got them today. I didn't quite know what to do with them so I tried them on crab cakes. Instructions say cut in half and squeeze out contents of pod. That didn't work so well with arthritic fingers. Next attempt I'll slice them long ways and try to scoop the insides out with a butter knife or something. But they do add a nice lime flavor to crab cakes. I'm not exactly sure how else to describe them except lime but not bitter like a lime. They are a bit expensive so I'm not likely to keep these stocked in my fridge but I just had to try them when I heard of them.

These are pretty cool. The limes were a lot smaller than I expected but they did the job. Not sure I would use these as a substitute for regular lime but if you want to add a visual or textural accent to your dish this is a neat option, although a little pricey.

Shipped in perfect condition. Used them for a party and they were a big hit on the key lime pie slices.
