Awesome hammock, meh carabiners

Bought this so I can hang out in the sun the summer; my first hammock has a built in bug net so it's not the easiest to just lounge in. But I've enjoyed using this hammock so far; I strung it up on my patio and napped as soon as it came in. Being a double hammock, it is a pretty large hammock. I am only 5'6" and I get swallowed by this thing laying in it straight, but if you fold it in half and lay in it, it fits perfectly.
My only complaint about this hammock is the carabiners and straps at the ends of the hammock. Most hammocks I've seen (my Grand Trunk, friends' Eno's) have rope that bunch the ends together. This fits carabiners pretty well. However, this BearButt hammock has straps at the ends, and they fit awkwardly in the carabiners provided. Also, the carabiners included have already caught on those straps and pulled threads, doing the same to the hanging straps I bought.
TL;DR: Awesome hammock for the price, very comfortable. Carabiners could be better.

Better than an ENO unless you camp where you have to pack your gear in and out.

Better than the ENO. We have both this and an ENO and we like this one better. The ENO packs smaller so if that's an issue go with it over the Bear Butt. For us we do some limited hiking and kayaking but never anything that takes us out for more than a couple of hours so packing the slightly larger Bear Butt in a back pack that only contains a couple of waters and maybe a book is no big deal.

This is the very first parachute hammock I've bought, and I could not be happier! The shipping was crazy fast. I ordered on Monday, and it arrived Wednesday morning, even though shipping was estimated 5-7 business days. I started with a Grand Trunk, but this hammock competes on every level. The material is soft but strong. The entire time I am in it I don't feel like it is about to give on me (I am roughly 200lbs). As it is a double it has plenty of space.
If you are a person who doesn't need the name brand products on the side of your stuff (oh the elitists, one day they will learn) then purchase this now if your looking for a hammock, or most importantly if you just want a cheap, quality hammock.
