Great product for the price.

I am an auto electrician and I purchased these test leads a a cheap way to get me by till I can get ones ordered in from fluk.
I wasn't expecting anything to great since the price was so cheap, but I really have to say that they are great. I love the banana style tips on the main lead ends. I haven't used the little push style clips yet but they seem like they will work great. I love the large alligator clips. They work very well for doing current draw testing on the battery.
Now for to get to the reason I will only give them 4 stars instead of 5 stars. When you plug them into your meter, you switch it to the OHMs setting and touch the leads together to verify that their resistance and to make sure that there is no short in them. When I do this the wire quality used really shows. They OHMs at 1-1.99 and for me that is way to high and unexeptible. That can fry lots of circuits on a vehicle or computer. So for that reason I will recommend them if you are only using analog type metering. DO NOT USE THESE LEADS ON DIGITAL CIRCUITS.

Much nicer than I thought it would be. Multiple options for test leads. Alligator clips much larger than they appeared in the picture. Make working with them easy. Good quality test leads. I am using with a Fluke meter.

The plastic insulated test leads are rated at 15 amps but no voltage is given.They seem well made to carry heavier current and most of the metal is shrouded or covered with a non silicone plastic or rubber materiel. My main concern is how many times can you flex the alligator joint until the plastic insulation cracks or breaks. That seems to be it's weakest point.

Okay. Nice set. Not what I was trying to buy. Bad assumption. I wanted those tiny short lead clips to plug into my multimeter. They aren't short leads at all. They won't plug in tho the fluke meter. They only plug onto the end of the long leads making them longer.

The Banana plug end is NOT hard plastic like you would think, it's made out of the same rubber as what is covering the Alligator clips, so it was a little disappointment, but overall for the money it was a good buy if you can get free shipping. My order came very quickly, so very happy with the product and the vendor.
