The magnet has great pull and its very well made.I only have1 issue I have and that's with how fast it rusts granted I have been using it in salt water so it is 100% my fault.

I needed a magnet strong enough to hold a 15 pound salt lick from a metal cattle feeder. This magnet more than does the trick. It is bigger than I expected it to be and is extremely strong. This is not a kids toy, and I won't even let my wife touch it. . . it is so strong it can be dangerous. Used with caution however it is very helpful and is a useful tool. Very happy with the purchase, will likely buy more for my other feeders.
