Giving it four stars only because it's advertised as an ARM BAND..I hear arm band I think bicep area upper arm... This WILL NOT fit your bicep area if you are muscular! Barely fit my forearm area.... But I do like it, I have the Android zte phone and it works fine, some functions on the bottom part of my phone are a bit covered , but they did say may not be a perfect fit for all phones, the Velcro on it is amazing ( so far, it's still new) I did a" shake test"where I shook my arms like a mad man to see if the phone would fly out, but the straps held the phone firm...I would recommend it, just wish the Velcro strap was an inch or two longer...

This thing does the job. It rotates, so you can see and touch your screen from any position, and the band is adjustable and very sturdy. I've run with it several times and it stays put. Given how much trouble I've had finding a hands-free holder for my Pixel phone I'm giving it 4 stars. It would be 5 except that, to hold the larger phones like mine, it has to be fairly substantial and with the phone in place the whole assemblage feels a bit heavy/bulky. As well, the elastic straps hide the fingerprint ID spot and partially obscure the camera. So if you come upon a great wildlife shot you're likely to miss it. I really care most about being able to communicate in an emergency and use the maps app while I run, and it provides for those fine so it works for me.

I've been running a lot more lately and wanted something that could be worn on my wrist as opposed to my upper arm where the phone is unreachable. I like to be able to look down and see some of my metrics while running... even though RunKeeper tells me every 1/4 mile. There's something about seeing it to me...

Anyway, this is a very good band with good retention on my iPhone 8 plus. There is a small amount of "wiggle" to the phone on the band, but that is to be expected. I gave 4 stars on all areas for these reasons: 1. I've used it 5 times (as of writing this review) so my experience is limited 2. It's a "good" product at a "great" price... meaning even if I gave it 5 stars it would be 5 stars in the "budget" category. 3. The longest that I've worn this at one time is about an hour it was plenty comfortable... but I don't know about wearing it longer than that.

All this being said, as long as this band continues to perform as it has I would recommend buying it and/or I would buy it again.

The Pros: Rubber band webbing securely holds the phone; no clear plastic to interfere with touch functions & home button; rotating function works well with stiff detents to keep it locked at whatever position you rotate to (detents about every 20 degrees; 90 degrees max rotation off of parallel-- or 180 degrees of rotation total); nothing to interfere with headphone jack; Velcro on the wristband is wide for a secure hold.
The Cons: Can use on the wrist ONLY. Band is too small to fit on the upper arm, or even the forearm. In fact if you have big wrists, you might find this too tight.

I purchased this to use the map function while riding my motorcycle. Will not fit on my upper wrist, especially over my jacket, unless I can come up with a way to extend the wrist strap. After looking more, I see that this company makes a larger arm-band version. Will try that.

Update 02/01/19 - Still using this wristband but my Samsung 4S Mini died. Now using with a Samsung S6 with great success. It still holds the phone securely even with the bigger screen size. I've included a picture of the S6 mounted in the wristband for comparison to my old phone. Would still give this 5 stars as its held up well and provided a great alternative the band that attaches to your bicep.

Started running again and wanted something different than an armband strap that fits around my bicep Id always worn. The Armband was uncomfortable, never in a position to view it and hard to change songs...

Bought this wristband as an alternative and am really enjoying it. The product has been more than i ever could have imagined. It holds my phone securely, its easily viewable on my wrist during runs and now my app is handily accessible for updates while I run. As for the fit...The middle of my forearm measures 10inches in diameter and I wear a nike thin long-sleeve shirt with the wristband comfortably. Ive also worn it with a nike hoody and it was definitely on the tighter side. So just a note If you have larger forearms I think this will be hard to wear with outerwear during winter. Paid for this item and not a bias review...will update later to follow up on how its working
