Cheap clipboard with a giant sticker on the back

Kinda bummed about this. For $19, I was expecting something sturdier. The construction on this one is, well, cheap. Trying to close it reminds me of trying to close one of those plastic Easter eggs- if you don't line it up perfectly, it won't close, and the thin plastic "lip" might get misshapen. And the latch sucks. If i hadn't needed to use it the day after i got it, i would have sent it back.
And the cheat sheet? It's a giant sticker. WITH BUBBLES IN IT. So irritating because you can't get rid of the bubbles, and that's one of those stupid, irrational pet peeves of mine- air bubbles under stickers. Hmm
Honestly, I think I may just go back to the big "W" box store and get one of the ones I looked at there- 1/2 the price and much heftier. Maybe I can peel the sticker off this one and put it on the new one. At least it wouldn't be a total waste then.

The 5 stars is more for the customer service of tribe rn than the actual clipboard! The clipboard is more about 4 stars. The clipboard is your average storage clipboard. I wish there was a option for a side opening. Also, for the price, it really should be more of a tougher plastic (rubbermaid) quality. However, super happy with this! The first clipboard had a slight manufactured defect in the seam where the clipboard shut. It was small and still usable, but definitely not worth almost $19. So I emailed the company and told them what I received and sent pictures. I also made the suggestions as I did above about better options. The customer service here is simply fabulous! They immediately shipped me a replacement board and its in perfect condition! It's exactly what I was looking for to get through my nursing school clinicals. Recommend for students! Keep the customer service aspect up and you have a customer for life! Thank you!

I guess i expected more durability for 17+ dollars. I really like the sticker on the back with all the references BUT there were two air bubbles that I cannot get out of it. Other than those two things I like it but they need more quality control for sure.
Ok so this is a second review. The company tribe rn contacted me and sent me a new clipboard and their were no bubbles in it this time. They were professional and threw in a cool penlight as well. I'm changing from a 3 to a 5 because customer service is extremely important to me.

I really like my clipboard. I am in my second year of nursing school and I have been shopping for one of these for a while now. I went to Staples, OfficeMax and Target and just wasn't happy with the quality, size or colors. I was even on the fence about ordering this one from TribeRN. I'm glad that I did. It's not bulky at all but has just enough room to hold all of my clinical papers in one space, pens, keys, even a granola bar or gum. I had been previously utilizing a clipboard with an attached cover during clinicals but with the amount of paperwork that I have to carry around, reference sheets, drug book, lab dx book, and nursing dx book, I felt like I was always doing a balancing act and my clipboard was a jumbled mess. I like to be organized and I think that this clipboard with storage will do just the trick. I like that it has the lab reference sheet adhered to the back. Mine had a few bubbles underneath the adhered sheet but they were easily smoothed out. For the price, I think this product is a good value.

Im in nursing school and have been using this for my clinical. Works very well! Love the extra storage to keep my pens, bandage scissors, pen light, alcohol wipes, etc. Definitely not too bulky! The cheat sheet on the back is also very helpful. My boyfriend is in nursing school too and always steals my clipboard since we have clinical on different days of the week. No complaints so far. Highly recommend!
