Not much better off than tying laces

The plastic clip doesn't hold the laces very tight. And loosening the strap is not much easier than tying lace. The clip will open up after awhile of use. Good thing is extras clips are included. Kids tend to come home with missing plastic clips and loose shoe laces. The plastic clip will also dangle and fly around when kids are running or playing sports. Kids might complain if it keeps hitting their shin. I wouldn't purchase again unless I really need it. A less smooth lace that doesn't come loose easily might be a better choice.

These shoe laces were perfect for my almost 5 year old, who hasn't quite figured out the whole shoe tieing thing yet. They are secure, and easy for me to get on and off. He is still working on it. :)
Update:I reduced my rating from 5 Stars to 2, after just over a month of using these laces the laces broke. Great product but didn't last even through the life of the shoe (which with a 5 year old boy usually isn't that long)

Saw these and had to give them a try for my child who can't stand shoelaces to touch him. They are great! Easy to use and easy to lace into the shoes. I like that they come with some extra pieces and the laces are long enough I can use in two pairs. Keep the shoes tight so they don't slip. My son thinks they look cool too!

Let me start by saying that my 13 can tie her shoes, she just doesn't want to and I don't want her to have no support. SO these have been a great addition to her shoes. We had a few issues at first but then it was all smooth sailing from there getting them on. She loves how she doesn't have to tie her shoes but they fit her feet better. (Imagine that!) The price was great and if any mom is fighting with kiddos like this, its a great way for both sides to win and not break the bank.
