Ok, I bought this as I was losing hair rapidly and it freaked me out. I am a 40 year old woman with usually very thick, coarse hair. I had also been box coloring my hair with an ammonia based color. I switched to ammonia free and bought this set in hopes to restore my usual hair thickness. I also began using Rosemary oil and taking biotin. I feel that the shampoo is not moisturizing at all. The conditioner is decent, but i feel like you have to use a lot of product and my hair is very long. My boyfriend has been using this as well and neither one of us are having scalp issues at all. He was having dandruff and I was getting scabs on my scalp with dandruff. I dont think he is noticing much new hair growth yet. I feel that mine has improved, but I am also combining it with the other things I mentioned. I only give 4 stars because this is crazy expensive and I would normally never spend that much on hair care. I did order a cheaper brand to alternate with this. I dont know if i would buy again, but it has helped our scalps tremendously.

I'm currently re-ordering these products (shampoo and conditioner) because I saw immediate results after one use. Due to some nutritional/hormonal fluctuations lately, I noticed my hair started falling out more than normal. Until that stabilizes, I was looking for a product to support the thinning. Like I said, after just one wash I noticed a difference. I have long hair (down to my lower back, like L4) so unfortunately the conditioner only lasted me about three weeks washing every few days"”but more normal length hair, I think these sizes are a good fit to last for a month+. The only thing I would say is the smell is a bit"¦idk how to describe it"¦minty? Like reminds me of a Tea Tree or peppermint essential oil? So it doesn't smell like amazing like some shampoos out there"”but I think the benefit for the actual hair is more important than the scent. The way I solved that issue was to just add a small dollop of a conditioner whose smell I love at the end of washing/conditioning with the Pura d'or product :) Enjoy!
