The first unit I received would not heat up. I contacted the company and tried several things, but the heating element was defective. The unit was replaced and I have been using it for a little over a week now and it works great. The unit heats up to whatever setting I set it at and maintains that temperature. I love this unit and the time it saves me in my chainsaw repair shop. I can put items in the unit to clean and walk away from it and do other things. When I come back at the end of the cleaning cycle the parts are clean. All I have to do is used compressed air to dry them off and blow off any other debris. It also works great to clean up the chainsaw chains before sharpening. This keeps the grinding wheel from building up with oil/sap. I highly recommend this brand of ultrasonic washer based on customer service and product performance.

I bought this to clean 2 sets of ATV carburetors. It was able to clean the small passages in them when several cans of aerosol carburetor cleaner and a soak can had failed. Kinda pricey, but 1/4 the price of new carbs.

You get what you pay for here, the DK Sonic is a well made quality machine.
To me the 10L ultrasonic cleaner is a minimum size and perfect as the basket is a nice square size and well made. Will be used for bicycle chains, chain saw chain and carb, and other carburetors.
Unit features: stainless steel ball valve, degassing, dual frequency, 300 watt heater, 240 watt transducers, big handles. I used distilled water in freezer zip-lok bags with Simple Green HD (Purple) mixed 1 to 3 ratio.
Set the bags with parts in basket then added water to tank, plug machine in, click power button in back by plug, and let the water heat up. Degassed, then 42 hertz for 30 minutes, temperature 55 celsius/131 F, came out spotless clean. Machine stays stationary and not loud, 64 db at 3 feet distance. The only thing I would change is the plastic lenses in front of LED digital readouts to a clear lenses instead of the grid wave line type. I like the green digits. Happy Customer.

It comes packaged well so even if your delivery guy hates your guts it should survive. The Vega option cleans rusty bolts and electronic devices extremely well. I put my boots into some oil or my electronics (just PCBs) into Alcohol afterwards with amazing results. The heating feature works amazingly well. The size and power for the cost is just amazing!
