Ok, I'm the first to admit that it doesn't take much to thrill me, but these little silicone strips thrilled me to pieces!! Those 2 strips on each side of my stove have always bugged me. They haven't bugged me enough to clean those strips thoroughly each time I cooked, like I should have. They just bugged me enough to give me a guilty twinge when I turned away.
Then I saw these silicone strips on Amazon - my favorite shopping friend. They have a little strip on the bottom that slides all the way to the back, & this is what holds the whole thing in place. If it's a bit too long, cut it with your scissors. If it's a bit too short, I'd pull it to the front. I think most stovetops are a standard size, & they fit mine perfectly. So, there's all the reasons I'm thrilled. I've included photos to show you what I'm talking about.

I just recently had to replace my stove and wanted to have some kind of strip between the stove and kitchen counter. The ones in the store were hard plastic. This one is soft and adheres to the counter and stove. Since it doesn't leave any gaps it prevents food and liquids from falling through. The gentleman who delivered the stove was so impressed he is going to suggest it to his customers.

I had metal covers and they did not work as well as the silicone. Got these covers in mail fast and price was good. They work great. Stay fairly clean and do not move around on the stove or the counter. Goes great with my silicone spoon rests.
