Easy enough, zero problems

After reading reviews I was hesitant to purchase this item let alone the two I needed. For the price I decided to give it a go. A couple things. 1. Assemble the inner rings first which will need to be placed on their side and pressed down on to latch the final two together. 2. The legs go on the outside. 3. Build it bottom up one set of rungs at a time for stability. 4. You will need a wrench to hold the nuts in place while you tighten the bolts. 5. Rule of thumb when assembling anything, tighten last.
I haven't received the second one. The second should be quicker and easier now that I have figured out the easiest way to put it all together. It can be done solo. In all it was a 25 minute job by myself.
The instructions are picture only. Truthfully it's not that complicated it just felt like it was upon first glance.
I did run into the issue of my pot being just too small. I plan to address this with drilled holes in the pot and zip ties as the pots I am using are plastic. The piece is light weight which is a plus as I dropped strength training during the pandemic.
Overall for the price I am satisfied and pleased I took the risk. My honeysuckle plants will be thrilled with their trellis.

I didn't follow the instructions provided with regards to the rings. The rose bush was spread out wider than the diameter of the trellis. I first started with the ring at the bottom of the bush to determine the diameter and worked upward by using clips to hold the branches tight. I then inserted the rods in the dirt, pulled the ring up (which I had taped together) because you have to wait to screw together once the first two rods are in place. Then screwed the first ring to the first and second from the bottom rods are in place. Continued doing this upward till I got to the top. I removed the clips and after a few days the rose bush didn't seem so constricted.

It did take me an hour by myself to assemble. But I'm still so excited to use it outside. Good thing it came with one extra screw because one of the screw heads barely had indentations for the screw driver to hold.

For $20 for an obelisk, I really wasn't expecting much. I was however pleasantly surprised to have something as easy to assemble and feature in my rose garden. On a Sunday afternoon, my husband and I got together, and while I put the pieces together, he screwed them all together. We had five of them done in a matter of a couple of hours, while watching a movie. It was truly easy, and if I can do it, anyone can!
Each one went in easy around my climbing rose bushes and they look great. I have already received several compliments from friends that they look great!
I gave it four stars because there were a few pieces that just didn't go together and we had to use the needlenose pliers to reshape the female to fit into the male part. It was a bit of an annoyance, but nothing that would ever keep us back from purchasing again.
