Best Iron supplement My Daugher is a competitive runner and struggles with keeping her iron levels up. Doctor prescribed ferrous sulfate, but that was horrible on her stomach. Ferrous gluconate pills also caused horrible pain during work outs and queasy stomach. Floradix was gentler on stomach, but did not get her numbers up to where the doctor wanted them. This supplement has been great. Her numbers are finally up where they need to be and it has no side effects for her at all. She takes it in the morning when she first wakes with a glass of water. We love that it has the extra vitamin C already in it, so she does not need to drink juice with it. (she does not like juice) I would highly recommend this product if the doctor has prescribed iron supplement for you and your stomach does not tolerate ferrous sulfate.

I've tried taking liquid iron that is mixed with reverse osmosis water and is supposed to absorb straight into the bloodstream for a straight year and it never did squat for me! I started taking these pills and I've never felt better!! I'm anemic due to heavy periods and was getting so bad with all of my symptoms I really needed help and these did it for me!! So glad I found these!!

I took this specifically for my brittle nails. For over a year now I had nails that wouldn't grow and peeled away. I ordered these in mid July and started taking them right away. I took one pill a day after lunch and now just two months later my nails are growing out thick and not peeling back at all. The pills are easy to swallow and never caused me any stomach issues.

I switched to this supplement instead of the cheap ferrous type recommended by my doctor. I believe it to be more safe for me as a cancer patient, and also I no longer need to use stool softener as I did with the ferrous type.

The best iron supplement ever.
I took a high dose (doctor recommended) of 2 capsules twice a day. My Ferritin levels went from 19 to 141 in 3 months.
Thats very impressive if you're familiar with iron/ferritin.
I took additional vitamin C along with each dose. I did have tummy grumbling at times and some issues (Amazon flags and removes my review when mentioning the word) but we'll say 'loose stools'.
But---I took a high dose. A lower, more normal dose, probably wont cause those issues. Vitamin C tends to cause those issues as well.
I totally recommend this product.
