They're soft and stretchy but pretty thin material. The pockets are very tiny, so you can't fit much in there at all. I found the length to be almost perfect(maybe a smidge too long). I wish it would come in more colors instead of only having certain colors for certain sizes(I want black and dark blue in 10, please). I bought a second pair even though it has some drawbacks.
