I wanted quick-dry light weight support for a bathing suit without a liner and for quick-dry hiking shorts.
After using many times for both activities I can say these jocks do the job well without squeezing my waist or man parts. Most of the time I could go about hiking or swimming without needing to adjust things. The pouch is a bit generous, so it could use more spandex to provide a bit more support, but there is a balance between feeling like nothing is there and squishing.
The jock drys quickly and is very comfortable. If you're looking for the classic cotton jock, this isn't it. I think these are much more comfortable.
While I've only worn these for a couple of months, the full back version of these have lasted over three years with gentle washing and air or low temp drying.

These could be perceived as slightly loose than what you'd want for a lot of sport activities, XL on 5'11 215#, but they're more like nothing at all in the best way.
Jeans don't pull them, the kids stay perfectly in place, they don't bunch, and they're soft as can be.
Time will tell if they launder well over the course of things but I'm just going to order more and hope for the best!
