Although the actual amount of light delivered is nowhere near the claimed 1600 lumens (and I'll never give 5 stars for a product that is misrepresented), this is a pretty good flashlight overall. First, the bad point:

It has the annoying multi-mode switch that you can't readily slave down to just a simple on/off at one fixed, permanent level. I'm sure that there are people who think those other modes are nifty, and I'll admit that it's nice to be able to select half power when I need for the light to stay working for 45 minutes while I fish the spare out from under the car and swap it for the flat tire, I'm really much happier overall with a dumb on/off switch that always does exactly the same SINGLE thing.

Then the good points:

The size and hand feel are both in my personal just-right range, and by the standards of the flashlights of the 20th century, this thing's illumination is bloody well incredible. By the standards of 2018, when a real 1000 lumen light can be bought at Costco for twenty bucks or less, it's just a good, useful, but hardly stellar unit. That said, it does have the increasingly common and very useful focus head that allows widening the beam out to a flood or narrowing it down to a projected image of the lighting element itself, it is packaged with adapters that allow the use of either three AAA alkaline or a single 18650 lithium rechargeable battery, and the threads are a lot smoother (and seem less likely to bind or gall} than many I've dealt with. The clip is sturdy and well mounted, the wrist strap is reasonably solid, the switch action is at least reliable and consistent, and the supplier actually offers a specific warranty.

Overall, if you need a good, reliable flashlight with a decent balance of light output for size, and your runtime demands are not so great as to make stepping up to a multiple C- or D-cell unit necessary, then this is a good choice. And since you get the AAA adapter with the light, you can keep that as a spare battery pack ready to go as a backup for the 18650 that you'll be well advised to use as your main power supply for the unit.

These flashlights are heavy duty, very bright and the zoom feature makes the light brighter is a more concentrated spit. I would highly recommend this product.

Really nice set of flashlights. Got these for my son who is s Boy Scout and pleasantly surprised these have a zoom - which comes in handy for camping. Light is very bright, and flashlights are metal and very sturdy for my rough and tough little boy! Hold 3 triple A batteries not included but you can purchase those on amazon for almost nothing. Great buy! Highly recommend:)

This is so bright! Do Not look into lens! I was very impressed at how bright and wide this little flash flight can go. It has the ability to use several different types of batteries. The flashing mode reminds me of a movie where the actor had it while taking out bad guys. All in all a great flash light. Not cheap materials. High quality lens and led.
