I'm a 6'6" 200lbs guy and it is very difficult to find things that are comfortable. This hammock was too short and became uncomfortable however I set it up. If you are tall as I am this may not be the hammock you are looking for and that is sad for me because I really like the company. I emailed Bear Butt asking them to swap me out with a hammock that was a littler longer. They said that all their hammies are the same size and refunded my money reminding me that their hammock is one of the tallest out there. I don't doubt it but its not long enough for me.

Bought this so I can hang out in the sun the summer; my first hammock has a built in bug net so it's not the easiest to just lounge in. But I've enjoyed using this hammock so far; I strung it up on my patio and napped as soon as it came in. Being a double hammock, it is a pretty large hammock. I am only 5'6" and I get swallowed by this thing laying in it straight, but if you fold it in half and lay in it, it fits perfectly.
My only complaint about this hammock is the carabiners and straps at the ends of the hammock. Most hammocks I've seen (my Grand Trunk, friends' Eno's) have rope that bunch the ends together. This fits carabiners pretty well. However, this BearButt hammock has straps at the ends, and they fit awkwardly in the carabiners provided. Also, the carabiners included have already caught on those straps and pulled threads, doing the same to the hanging straps I bought.
TL;DR: Awesome hammock for the price, very comfortable. Carabiners could be better.

I love my new hammock! The customer service is beyond awesome too. When I received my hammock, I immediately took it out and hung it in my yard. It was so comfy and wonderful and I love the pocket on the side. However, when I was admiring the little pouch, I noticed a tear by the seam. Heartbroken, I sent BearButt a Facebook message with a pic of the tear. They replied within hours and told me that they were shipping out a new one right away! I offered to send the torn one back and they said to keep it! They sent out a new one right away and I had it in days. It was so easy and they were so nice about it. The best part was that I still had the torn one to use for my camping trip that weekend (and it actually didn't tear more yet). I am definitely a BearButt girl now!

After 11 months of light usage and storing inside 90% of the time I was highly disappointed when the hammock just split right down the middle on me while I was swinging on it with my daughter. She was quite upset. I got some use out of it, but honestly I'm surprised it ripped so easily.
I have trees all over my house and was really wanting to install a tree swing for my 2 y.o. The trouble is none of my trees have limbs that will work. So I bought this. I can put it between the two trees and push her in it. She loves it. Plus it doubles as a huge relaxing feature in my front yard.

Worked great after several uses for short peroids, planning for lots of longer use though. Sets up and tears down in under 5 minutes with the straps from bear butt. Bought two and will buy more as gifts!
UPDATE: a month into using the bear but and it still works great and feels comfortable. Had some frayed nylon near edge but doesn't interfere with safety of the hammock.
