I work long hours in all sorts of hot weather. Sometimes I just need to bring water wherever I'm going without it being a chore like a jug or a cup. I've had backpacks to fit these and most of the time the bladder that comes with them is pretty lame. This one is great, It has a detachable hose, automatically closing fittings, and a lockable mouthpiece. It prevents the mess that comes with cheaper designs, and this one is pretty inexpensive itself. I especially like that it doesn't add any weird taste to the water. the large opening makes this simple to fill and the surround allows you to hold it flat to fill this up as much as possible.
Best of all it fits those backpacks I already have. Its a great replacement for those.

This is a sturdy bladder. I got 2 for my son and I. I have him in a Kelty hiking pack and we put them in the outside part of the backpack. It reaches to me and I just keep it resting right on the shoulder with handkerchief. It's so much better to have our water right there conveniently and I don't have to worry about stopping and taking my son off my back when he is whining for water. We've actually been hiking much more lately due to this!
Good product, good price. Could use minor improvements.

Good bladder, nice wide opening.
Quality drinking tube, but larger inside diameter than the barb fittings on Katadyn's quick disconnect adapters, so you will need to add zip ties to compress the tube on the barbs.
The push/pull mouth piece was cool. Not sure if it is better or the same as a bite valve. The protective cap has a short piece that keeps it attached to the drinking tube, but it is brittle, and while backpacking in 30 degree (F) temps it broke free from my tube. Luckily I saw it happen, and paid attention there after. I will be adding a para-cord loop.
BONUS!: It came with a camo fabric something or other. I was not sure what it was meant for, but I used it as a buff while wearing a beanie (sleep mode) or under my ball cap (hiking in snow mode.)
I definitely recommend this product.

Simple hydration bladder that can fulfil many purposes. Built out of a really sturdy material and can withstand pressure. The drinking nozzle is easily accessible, securely shut, and cannot get dirty. It can fill up plenty of water for more than one. Perfect for hiking/camping or even music festivals such as raves.
I also love be fact that it comes with a bonus magic bandana. It can be styled in many ways as shown by the illustrations in the packet. I just personally wouldn't wear it since I'm not into the camouflage print, but still a nice gift.

This is a great medium duty pouch for carrying a medium amount of water. The last water pouch I had did not have a mouthpiece cover and the spout would dirty, this pouch solved that problem very nicely. There was no noticeable "plastic" taste that I could detect. The connections were easy to connect as stated by the description. The large opening is great because cleaning it out is very easy, not a feature I have had on previous packs.
