Flimsy ... use with caution and kid gloves and think of other options

After being so very careful attaching the lights and opening my umbrella, I went to open it for the 2nd time and I can see in at least 3 places where the wires have been cut and/or are pulling apart from the bulbs. You shouldn't have to baby "outdoor" fixtures.
UPDATE: I was able to salvage all but 2 strands and decided to anchor them UNDER my glass patio table. This way, I don't have to worry about movement breaking the strands when the umbrella is opened, and it provides a nice relaxing light.

These lights are not bright shining ones suitable for reading, but ones enough for night relax, which is what I expect. Zip ties
are included, but they were not needed. I can easily twine them to the rods.

Just used my umbrella lights for the first time and they are PERFECT! A little tricky to install, but gucci!

This is the dimmest set of lights I've ever seen. They do NOT light up under the umbrella. It's basically super thin lights with zip ties. We are returning this to buy actual lights that you can actually see with when it's dark.

The lights are not very bright and they do not turn on until well after dusk. Additionally, one leg of the light did not work upon arrival. Did not return them because it took such a long time to hang them - probably a longer time to remove them and ship it back. Note, you must solar charge them first and then take them into a very dark room to check the light before hanging them.
