Used one for hot and the other for cold. The hot one was heated by microwave and following the manufacturer's instructions worked well. Determined the best time based on my microwave. Came up with the total time (minutes) necessary to heat to my needs Next time I heated the pack I used half of the total time on each side. Cold was much easier put in the freezer and when needed just take out knead it gently it flattens yet pliable. My only minor issue is ,it doesn't stay at the desired hot peak temperature for 20 minutes.

This is a mixed review. My package had already been opened and the belt, used. The Velcro inside the belt didn't secure the pad very well. Otherwise, it was in good condition. This is my first time using a back support. The belt is easy to put on, adjustable, and supports my back. I've worn it a few times already and I'm pretty satisfied with it. I have disc issues and had difficulty finishing my mile+ walks. I also couldn't use a rake, push broom, etc. The belt allows me to do those things again. Highly recommend.

I primarily wear this under my outer clothes when I am out of the house,but sometimes wear it in the house when my back muscles are giving me a hard time. The other two back braces I bought are much stronger/tighter fit,which can be good,but sometimes less pressure seems to be more helpful,and the fact that this one is so "tall" and the straps are also tall,means he helps hold my back muscles in place without cutting off my breathing or being painful.
My problem is primarily with lower back pain from pulled muscles. This back support provides enough resistance to keep my lower back muscles from "popping out" too far,while still supporting them or being painful.

Wow this is a great brace for a great price. It has Velcro closure and then two elastic straps on either side to tighten it up. It also has a supportive piece that fits right in the small of your back. I'm a Physical Therapist and I tell you, you won't find a better brace.
