LOVE THIS CONTACT PAPER! This looks extremely classy and clean BUT has to be installed correctly. You can see seams but only when less than 3 feet away (Anything else further away isn't noticeable) The paper was very easy to use and although very sticky, was able to lift up from surface and realign if we got off on laying it down. I recommend using a hair dryer mold it to the counters and to also use maybe a water spray of some-sort underneath. Although we watched some videos on this and thought the install guy would do this, he didn't use either and there are bubbles throughout the entire thing. (some I was able to take a hairdryer to and get out, some not).
We wanted to do a very cheap kitchen upgrade to brighten up the area and this kitchen took 3 rolls of the contact paper to cover. Our original counter was cream and the cabinets were painted from brown to black. The counters bothered us so much that we painted the cabinets white, added a glass back splash, and then chose to use this paper for the counters. With paint, the back splash, and this contact paper, we were able to give the kitchen a face-lift for less than 300.00.

Very happy I purchased this! I'm 8 months pregnant and was able to install this by myself. It did take about 90 minutes for me to install but it was really worth it. Our old laminate countertops were in desperate need of an upgrade and with a baby on the way it's not financial feasible to replace it right now. But this is an excellent substitute until we do that.
If you can install a phone screen protector without any bubbles or placing contact paper in drawers without issues this will be a breeze.
I did have to pull up about 8 inches that was already laid down because I started crooked but it wasn't so difficult to pull up and place back down. Now I need to purchase more to finish the rest of my kitchen!

While I wish I could afford marble countertops, that isn't the case. I'm really happy with how this turned out! I will be buying more to do my other two bathrooms.
Hints:
Seams: Plan where you have to cut so that the "grain" can match from your last cut. Instead of cutting vertically or horizontally, cut at an angle with the grain - the joined areas become invisible. I didn't like the fact that I could feel the seams and sanded (150 grit then 220 and then 400) to smooth it all out. It took the initial glossy away but I applied polyurethane afterward.
Buy cheap contact paper and practice. Watch youtube videos to learn how to go around sinks and manage corners
Caulking adds a professional look to it.

Love it! I redid my kitchen counters and everyone thinks it's real granite until I point it out. I used a hairdryer to stretch it over rounded corners for a more realistic look. Buy a smoothing tool to make it easier to apply. Such a great product.
