Nice and functional as a tablet stand

Aesthetically not very pleasing. Lots of tool marks on the edges and light scratches on flat source, more so on the arm than the base, just check other reviewers' pictures and you'll see that.
The surface is shinier and more reflective than those from Apple machined aluminum such as MacBook Pro. The flat base can reflect lots of light when the angle is right and it can be a distraction.
Any (light) touch on the tablet makes the arm vibrate for 3-4 seconds. Swiping is mostly fine as there's a lot less sudden pressure change on the arm.
I would pay more for a better machined/treated stand but will still be happy to use this one as it provides much better and comfortable viewing angle

This is a great device if you have one or more tablets - they are elegant, functional and inexpensive. We have one on every table and two in the kitchen. This is an amazing little product from holding your cell phone I've had a broken mirror from the frame to do your makeup it's just the perfect little thing to prop something up mine and it adjust and it has a hole where the wire and you could charge and it's really worth having if you move around certain objects that you need next to you if you're cooking can read the recipe or if you're trying to do that awesome smokey eye thing you can watch the video while you're trying LOL I'm thinking about ordering another one and just giving it to my daughter because she keeps taking mine

I have been using the same iPad for 5 years now. Bought this on a whim and I LOVE IT. I wish I had bought it years ago (assuming they sold it then). It makes watching movies so much easier. It is very well made. I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about it. My iPad is in a fairly thick case and it fits on the stand without a problem.

A nice looking and very solid stand. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that it could use an elastic/adjustable clamp to hold an iPad in place when it is tilted either a vertical or a little bit beyond vertical as would be the case when using an iPad for a Facebook or Skype session with the stand sitting on a table.
