Not as good as Trader Joe.
Mike•April 12, 2018
I am not sure how anyone could complain that these are too sweet. They are not sweet at all. All you really taste is the cashew and the sesame. I bought these because I love Trader Joe version but these are a lot cheaper. No where near as good as Trader Joe. It doesnt have the sweetness to them that they should. The only thing better about these is the price, as Trader Joe version is $18 for a pound on Amazon which is beyond ridiculous.

This had a good flavor in a way. It just ended up being way to sweet for me. I think if you like super sweet, this is really tasty though. I

I have found the flavored nut blends and trail mixes from Wickedly Prime to be largely hit or miss. I love their cherry fest trail mix, while I thought their coconut toffee cashews tasted more like dry, overly-sweetened cereal. I was cautiously optimistic about these honey sesame roasted cashews, and ultimately I would say that they are somewhere in between. They are less sweet and far more subtle in flavor than the coconut toffee cashews. There is a definite sesame flavor, and the cashews are visibly peppered with sesame seeds. To me, in the midst of the sesame and mild sweetness, the buttery taste of the cashew gets a little lost or at least more muted than I would have liked. I had the same trouble with the coconut toffee completely masking the natural taste of the cashew.
This large twelve-ounce bag provides approximately eleven servings, which is honestly about right as a little goes a long way for me. This is not the type of nutty snack that I would just absentmindedly eat non-stop (which is a good thing). A single one-fourth cup serving runs 180 calories, 2.5 grams of saturated fat, and 7g sugar. It is worth noting that sugar is the second ingredient listed after cashews, followed by roasted sesame seeds -- and then butter, salt, (completely undetectable) cocoa powder, and at the very end, organic honey. You can see what looks like a dusting of sugar on the surface of the cashews as prominently as the sesame seeds, which is not how the cashews look on the front of the package. I would have enjoyed these more with less sugar and a more prominent savory, toasty taste. Still, these are a good snack or perhaps best used sprinkled over ice cream or yogurt.
