You might think they're made of Chineseium, but these are actually great.
Justin Pease✓ Verified Purchase•June 18, 2018
These lights are great! I do roadside assistance and felt I needed more lights. Two, synced, high-quality white/ambers for less than a small fortune smelled like finest Chineseium, but I've never been one to pass on Chineseium without giving it a shot. Glad I did. These might have a small pricetag, but they make a big impact. They're definitely not Chineseium, these smell like quality once you get them mounted and running.
These are the only two lights I've mounted exterior on my Crown Victoria Police Interceptor, and I've mounted them under the grille. They are bright, in sync always, and grab a hell of a lot of attention. With some custom wiring I was able to get the controller to sit inside the car and the lights to sit outside, and the wiring that came with this was enough length to do it without any cutting or splicing if one desired. I cut the quick-connector off to run the wires through the firewall of my car, but reattached it once the wire was through, and I didn't have to add any wire to the setup at all. These are great lights! You can't go wrong and I think I'll be buying another set or two so that I can stick them inside the trunk (for when the trunk is open on roadsides) and possibly also next to the rear license plate (so that there's more visibility from the rear when I'm responding and when I'm stopped).
SCORING: I reserve five stars for the best products with the best service. I haven't had an experience with the customer service people here, but these lights are so fantastic, I fell they deserve the rating I've given them, broken down below:
-BRIGHTNESS: 4/5. They're wicked bright and definitely grab attention, especially the split ones, but they're obviously budget lights when you compare them to something from Whelen. The difference is that these aren't $90 for two lights, they're $27. Worth every penny at that cost. If you want lights that are Whelen-bright, get Whelen lights, because nothing is brighter. But be ready to pony up and open you're wallet wide for those.
-VALUE: 5/5. The controller is pretty cheap (I opened it up to take a peek and it's ridiculously simple, you could disassemble it and install those switches elsewhere, if you wanted a cleaner look without this controller in the way). Regardless, the lights outdo themselves and are by far the brightest lights on my car thus far (as the rest are interior, although I'd reckon they're brighter than my Xprite dash lights.
-Do I recommend this product? Undoubtedly. If you're not a firefighter, EMT, police officer, or someone whose vehicle is often a hazard (not because of your driving, but because you're a professional who uses their vehicle as a tool), these aren't for you. Don't go around installing lights on your car just because it's fun, because it could get you into a lot of trouble with the law. However, if you're someone in the market for lights that will make you seen and visible in all conditions of the day or night, these are it in this price range.
-Would I buy these again? I wholly intend to do just that. They're great.
I trust these lights, and the rest of the lights on my car, with my life. If I'm standing in the wrong spot and someone doesn't see my car and hits it, I could be seriously injured or killed. My lights have to work every single time, whatever the conditions, to protect myself and others around my vehicle. I trust these lights to do that, and I'm confident that they'll fire up every time they're asked.

Extremely Bright, Enhance Safety on the Road

Installed the first set and really like them. I would suggest to the manufacturer that they redesign the bracket so that the lights can be mounted as shown, or rotated 90 degrees. As designed, they are supposed to be either top mounted or bottom mounted, but side mounted should be an option.
The first set has been installed on a pilot/escort vehicle for oversize loads to attempt to warn more drivers of the oncoming load/hazard. Buying more sets to put on the semi's and trucks pulling the loads, plus more fore escort vehicles. For the price, if one accident is avoided, they are a bargain. Enhancing safety is important.

Bright

Bright! I am impressed with the brightness and the flashing styles of this product. The casing is a little large and does not have to be because the cooling is done by a aluminum strip that is directly attached to the back of the LED's. The case, is not water proof so when installing them a little silicone goes a long way. Also the smarts are inside one of the lights, and not the switch/button controller so keeping water out is a good thing.
Does not seem durable. Returned it.

Lights work OK but I would not trust their moisture/dust protection. There is an unprotected circuit board inside one the lights housings and does not look like it's even coated for protection against the elements. It's probably OK for indoors use but would definitely not trust it for outdoors use. At least not for extended use, especially in humid/rainy locations. I returned it.

Came in quickly, they are bright as heck, hopefully they take some advice and make the wire that connects the two about 2' longer (it's kind of short but I knew that buying them)
So far I am impressed with the build quality however the spare nuts they sent for the back mounting bolts were the wrong size, I had to purchase 4 lock nuts at the tune of .57 each, not a huge deal but it did require a trip to the hardware store.
