Instead of looking at measurements, I looked at the picture. I was expecting a HUGE basket. It's not that big. That's not to say I'd send it back. Im not. I was just expecting something super large.

If you're going off the picture, take into consideration that they used a very petite woman. That being said, it's not as large as one would think going by the photo. However, it is large. My daughter's toys all just barley fit.
