These are the cutest little plants I ever purchased! I was introduced to air plants by my friend who had a couple. I had never heard of them before that. I also received 6 instead of 5... which is awesome because you're sure to lose one in travel. I had one that didn't look healthy.. however, I followed the instructions that came with the plants.. as far as the watering goes.. and after one day.. the one that looked almost dead.. bounced back. I refused to let it go. These air plants are so easy to take care of.. and I love the fact that they don't need to be planted in soil.. which allows your creative juices to fly when figuring out where to put them and how to place them. I included pictures to show what I did with them. I must say.. I also LOVE that this company uses some of its proceeds to help pets in need. We too, have a rescue puppy and he made our family complete. Plants for pets.. what an awesome concept! Keep up the awesome and rewarding work! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company.. I'll be purchasing again for my daughter.

As the headline states, the air plants arrived intact and healthy. Per the very detailed care instructions I made sure to give them a quick soak right away before placing them in their new found spots around the home. I was pleasantly surprised as I ordered the 5 large air plant pack yet received 6. Not sure if that was purposeful or an error, but either way it was a nice surprise! I would consider myself someone who has a green thumb, but even I was surprised by the care instructions and the detail that was put into it. I learned a great deal about air plants that I never knew before. The owner clearly put a great deal of effort into making sure buyers understand the product they are receiving.
In addition, the shops mission is to support homeless animals and ensure the word is spread about animal adoption. I thought this was such a cool initiative! We recently rescued a pooch that was displaced by Hurricane Harvey last year and he's just the sweetest. Obligatory shout out to explore your local pet rescues if you are looking to adopt a new member of the fur family.
All in all I'm very pleased with our air plant purchase. I will definitely be returning for future purchases.

These air plants arrived promptly and safely and instead of 5 in the box, there were 6 - all healthy and in great condition! Besides the actual product, there are a few things I already love about this company: 1) Along with the plants were VERY CLEAR instructions and suggestions about watering, pruning, lighting, temperature, and everything one would need to know about the care of these adorable little plants. The instructions were written in a very user-friendly manner, and also included a little "quick start" guide - very handy! 2) They stand behind their product. There is a 30 day guarantee and a contact email and website for any concerns or questions 3) This company promotes shelter pet adoptions. Yay! There are so many many wonderful animals out in there in need of a loving home, and I love that this company reminds everyone of that. Adopt don't shop! Some outter leaves had signs of overwatering and rot

Paid for 5, got 6! Even though they were big, I had to do a lot of pruning though to get rid of dying leaves on the outside. I am a plant hoarder and take excellent care of all kinds of house plants. I never soak air plants in water, (air plants always rotted when I did that in the past). Instead I use a spray bottle, and do not let the water get in between the leaves to the "stem" for lack of a better word, and then while they are still wet, I spray with diluted (1:10) air plant food allow to dry fully, and once fully dry I put them back into the sun. When these arrived, I sprayed them with my spritzer, and a lot of the outter leaves were slightly brown and limp and bent easily (signs of rot). So if this happens to you, make sure they dry reallllly well after watering, then use clean clippers and prune the dead stuff, otherwise it will hold in moisture and cause further rot until the plant dies. It's better to prune than get rot. So far all 6 plants are all still with me, so we'll see!

Love my little air plants and I can't wait to set my terrarium! These came well packaged and protected and they even included an extra one. They all seem healthy and are adapting to my home very nicely. Plants for Pets included an instruction sheet for water and taking care of them but what I love most is their strong support for pet rescuing! I have 4 rescues in my house so I can't possibly fit anymore furbabies but they are the most amazing dogs! Each one has a unique lovable personality. I definitely recommend checking your local shelter if you decide to add a cat or dog to your family. Even if you have a specific breed in mind, look for recuses that specialize with that breed. You will not only be saving a dog in need but also your money will further that rescue's efforts instead of a breeder.
